Chloe Nahas

Chloe Nahas is a Montreal based Palestinian. Her family was displaced in 1948 to Lebanon and eventually arrived in Montreal, Canada. Chloe has dedicated her life to social justice, working in many different contexts, such as conjugal violence, immigrant rights, sexual and physical abuse, peace work, and indigenous rights. She holds a master of social work and a Master in Business and administration, is a published author and is currently working on her PhD in psychology specializing in forms of holistic healing for displacement trauma. 

For the past 20 years Chloe has worked with individuals and groups, through community based organizations, governmental agencies and indigenous governments. Throughout her career she has worked with indigenous populations that experience high prevalence of trauma in Canada, Bolivia, Mexico, Australia and Palestine. She has also worked with many different NGOs such as Amnesty international. She has held training and taught in contexts related to emotional processes, trauma, healing, personal transformation, organizational and strategic development, and leadership.

Through her own journey, personal process, research, and support to others, she has witnessed the impact of intergenerational trauma and the foundations needed in undertaking a healing journey. This has led her most recently to dedicate her time to Salt of The Earth and the cause of collective liberation.
